I've heard of women getting a little scared, and thinking they dont even want their baby. But I think it's normal, it may be the nervousness....Unless you have reasons why you wouldn't want your baby....

Nowi don't have a reason me and the father both really love each other very much and we have been together for four years. I just feel that I won't love it that I don't want it and I 'll not care for it in the way I should. I feel this almost to the point of being sick and i'm getting worried so much that muy mind won't change and I won't want it?? Does anyone know why this is?

I have not felt that way.. In the beigin when I first found out I was alittle scared and didn't know if I was ready for a baby.. But now I can't wait until I see my little baby and hold him for the first time. Hopefully your feelings will change.... Good luck

Normal...
I think it's really normal to be scared when you become pregnant. I had all the same worries during my first 3 months. Even though millions of women have babies all the time, its still a massive deal when it happens to you!
Did you know that your hormones are all over the place during the first trimester and that its likely that they will settle down during the second?
That could be contributing towards your feelings of not living up to your expections when the baby comes along.

I had a friend who, throughout her entire pregnancy didn't want her baby at all. She was adament that she wouldn't love it or be able to all the normal mum stuff when it came along. But when it was born (about 6 weeks ago) she just knew what to do, held her baby straight away and now says she wouldn't change it for the world!

I hope the above has helped a little. Good luck, rest as much as possible and take care.

Angel x
