Breaking Up With Gf With Biploar Posted: 05-23-05 05:04am
Hello.
A friend of mine has been dating a girl
with biploar for about three months - he
does not describe the r.Ship as
particularly serious - however I think she
has different ideas. She recently stopped
taking her medication and is now in
hospital in a depressed state. He has
decided he wants to break up with her but
feels he should wait until she is out. I
however think it would be best to do it
while she is under medical supervision and
care. I do not think prolonging the
breakup will do her any good. Does anyone
have any advice or suggestions regarding
the situation?

Well if the dissision is made to break it
off,. Then I would say that he owes it to
her to let her know while she still has
support and meds given to her in a
protected place. How horrible it would
be to feel strong enough to come out of
the hospital, only to get hit with the
news that the man's support you thought
you had is gone.
Though no need to be rash, all people
suffer from one thing or another at
sometime in their life. If he believes
in karma, better be bringing in some
flowers and let her know that his
friendship and support are still there for
her....
