Hello my name is christine, in
2004 I had gone to the drs office
with symptoms of vertigo, he
diagnosed me with hypothyroid disease.
I am on synthroid .075. I do not
have energy..But I do exercise
regularly. I try to walk 30 minutes
daily. I do tony little gazzelle 3xs a
wk, I lift weights (body for life
weight program) and have cut out
carbs. I only have protein and low
glycemic vegetables. I have only
lost 10 lbs in the last 4 months and
have 40lbs to go.. This is never
ending battle for me and I am
getting discouraged any
suggestions: any natural herbs I can
take that are safe with synthroid..
Also can you tell me if lean for
less is effective and safe to take
with synthroid.. The ingredients nopal
cactus leaf powder 1000 mg + (opuntia
ficus) other ingr: are microcrystalline
cellulose. I am really afraid to
take anything with this medication.
Has any one lost weight from having
hypothyroidism. If so id love to
hear how????? Thanks christine

Thyroid supplements are perfectly safe,
and if you are pregnant it is important to
have your supplementation up to speed.
It does interact with many minerals,
especially what is considered "metals"
including calcium supplements,
multivitamins and many foods. So be sure
to take your thyroid supplement about 2
hours away from any of these (incl. Milk
that has lots of calcium).
