Hi could someone please help me, my Dr.
Said he was ordering a baseline mammogram,
is that just a name for regular mammograms
where the squeeze you death, im have never
had one and im really worried because
everyone says, they hurt really bad, could
someone please ease my mind or just plain
help me out thanks michelle

A baseline is a basic mam.
It will be used in the years to come to
compare how and if your breasts change.
If you were to be going in for diagnostic
mam. It would be because your gyn,.
Found a lump/mass that he needs
confimation on.
The squeezing isn't as bad as veryone
says. It's nothing at all.

I just had my baseline
mammagram last week. That is what they
call the first one so that way when you go
for anymore they can compare them to see
any changes. It does hurt do not let them
tell you it doesn't or that there is just
a little pressure. It does hurt. But if
the person doing it knows what they are
doing it will go very quick. Good luck
and try not to worry about it.
