Has Anyone Tryed the Crystal Bead Method?

You track your cycle with a ring on a necklace of beads and it clearly shows you when to use protection and when you don't need protection. Only for those who are regular. Sound great compared to the cost of the patch i'm on and how I feel.

My mom used the calendar method for 10 years after my birth... Now I have a little brother 10 years younger, but it did work for alll that time. Its about chances I guess. And she told me that her gino told her sperm in some freak cases can live up to 16 days inside you !?!?!??!?!?!??!! Please tellll me this is not true and she just told me that to scare me away from sex :s!

Yeah, my mom used the cycle method too, just after she got married. She conceived my brother five months later ;-) it's not a very reliable method of birth control at all. If you would prefer non-hormonal birth control, you would probably be better off using a fertility monitor or taking your temperature each morning to determine if you're nearing ovulation/ fertile, which would signify that you should not have sex. My mom did that after giving birth to my brother and it worked perfectly for 6 years, until they had me (totally planned), and then for another 5 years until my dad had a vasectomy.
