Hi,
two years is an awfully long time to go without a period. Especially seeing as how you are only 20yrs old. Have you been on any kind of birth control? There are quite a few different things that can cause you to go without your period. Pcos (polycystic ovarian syndrome) is a possibilty but 2 years seems a long time to go without a period even for someone with pcos. I know you said you have no medical insurance but the best advice to offer is to go and see a gyno or a doctor about it. People in forums like this can give you all the advice in the world, but it's not going to put your mind at ease until you know for sure.
Good luck though!

Hi,
if I were you no matter how much a doctors visit is what ever is wrong is worth knowing. You might be in the same boat that I am in. I was told when I was 18 that I could not have any children. I hope that is not the problem you are having. I do not wish that on any one. Just go get checked, if there is something seriously wrong u need to know. Would you rather get stuck with a couple hundred dollar bill or lose your life.

They are inexpensive and everywhere (sliding scale), are polite and kind, and can do prettly much everything from emergency contraception to birth control to paps to helping you throughout your pregnancy! They don't cost so much, and should be able to help you with pretty much anything you need, I think.
Also, do you eat enough? You lose your period if you don't have enough nutrients, like if your starving or something. Then, usually, when you start eating it comes back. I think your supposed to have a min of 4/year, but I could be wrong. I only had one twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer, for 2-3 years when I was anorexic, altho i'd only barely begun to menstrate b4 getting 'sick'. Docters blamed it on my only beginning to menstrate, said it would even out after awhile. Eventually I started eating more, if not alot, and it came back and is mostly regular. So it could be related to that.
Good luck! You should def see a doc tho, no matter what!

Hello, I can kind of relate to this situation. Im 5'3 and 120lbs, I compete in fitness competitions and love running and weight training, however, I have not had a period in at least 4 monthes! I know im not pregnant, but im afraid that the low bodyfat perce. Is causing this and hurt my chances in becoming pregnant someday. Im engaged and about to get married and I want to have children within a couple of years. I love fitness and working out but having children someday has priority. Any advice???
