Is it possible that you can miscarry without experiencing any bleeding on your first trimester?

No, you'll bleed. You might just think it's a period though if you don't know you are pregnant.

I miscarried with no symptoms at all -- my body just absorbed the embryo at 13 weeks. 11 week ultrasound, everything was fine, 2 weeks later, I was empty. This was years ago, my first pregnancy, and it was without a doubt the single most devastating thing that's ever happened to me. I had to have "the surgery" to get cleaned out because my body physically refused to let it go. It was literally making me ill because I couldn't pass it (the leftover tissue).

It's a freak thing, but yes, it most certainly can happen.

The good news is, that a month after the surgery to the day, I was pregnant again, and it was perfectly healthy.

I'm sorry if it has happened.

Period Or Miscarriage?
My gf says she was pregant, she took 2 tests one came out negative the other positive. A few weeks later she said she was bleeding a bit heavier than normal, she started bleeding again a bit yesterday. She says she thinks she is still pregnant, but I am sure she lost it. What do you think?

Bleeding with severe cramps can be a miscarriage. Bleeding alone without pain can be something else. You see, some women can be pregnant and still have normal period cycles and have a healthy pregnancy. If you are both concerned that she miscarried see a healthcare professional and they can do interuteral ultasound.

For the other person who asked about miscarring without bleeding. Actually. Its called a missed abortion. Where your body expels the embryo. At this time your body is still pregnant anddoesn't yet realize it has had a miscarriage. Later your body will figure it all and start to bleed.
