Needing Advice On This One...
Posted: 11-11-03 00:32am

I started taking ortho- tri-cyclen 3 weeks and 3 days ago. I took my 3rd placebo pill this morning. I should be starting my period this week. Hopefully... My bf and I had sex this whole month without protection because he wont stay hard with a condom on. Since this was my first month on the pill, he wouldnt climax inside of me. I know that there is still a chance because of the pre-cum. I am wondering, when I should get my period? Someone told me that I might not even get it if its my first month on the pill. I am wondering if I should start my new package on sunday even if my period doesnt come. When would be a good time to take a pregnancy test? I have had mild abdomen pains and I was wondering if this could be from the pill? I noticed a few times it was right after I was finished eating... Any answers would be greatly appreciated!!

The pill can do all kinds of things to your body. Continue taking them whether you get your period or not. I believe but am not 100% that they begin to provide protection after 2 wks. Anyway it is going to take some time for your body to get used to it. I was on the pill for about 10 years and always started on the wed. After I started the placebos.

Hope this helps! Good luck.

I was on thous pills to, the first month I did not have my period either.. So I would not worry to much.. I would start the pills on sunday..The pill does weird things to the body for the first month or so, or it can be due to stress.. The adomen pains could be from constipation..
Hope this helps Smile
