My doc diagnosed me with this...I never
knew you can get them in this area and she
precribed a creme that is still burning
me....I can't sleep at night and it hurts
to go to the bathroom.........Has anyone
ever been diagnosed with this and how did
they get rid of them and has anyone
experienced this creme??????

This is a specific hpv (there are about 40
different ones) that effects only the
genitalia (and back of the throat in
extremely rare occurences). The cream is
to remove the warts themselves, but
remember, this is in your system forever
as it's a virus. After they are gone, a
lot of people don't have them show up
again and some have infrequent outbreaks.
A lot of people who have it don't ever
show signs of it. If you do have another
outbreak, each one becomes less severe and
farther apart in time.
Hpv is very body position specific. You
can't get genital warts on your hands as
you can't get planter's warts on your
vagina, etc.
They can be treated in other ways if the
cream is too intense. They can be frozen
off, which hurts, but the results are very
quick and over with.
Go back to you doc.

Hi, I also had genital warts about 8 years
ago and my doctor burned them by freezing
them. It took about 4-5 treatments, and
yes, it's a bit painful, but it got rid of
them very quickly. And so far, no other
outbreaks. Good luck.

Thanks, i'm going to ask my doc to do
that instead...Because he put cream on and
now there back again...........So, it
sounds like freezing or burning them off
is the best...How do you feel after? And
how long after are you able to have sex?
