Tkr Rom And Pain What Is Normal? Posted: 05-28-05 09:18am


Had tkr 5/13/05 on rt knee previously had 3 surguries acl, and cartlidge removed on both sides. Was in hospital for 3 days after tkr and currently having pt for past week 3 times a wk. My rom flex is just 56 deg. And flat is 6 deg. Is this normal? Retured to work (desk job) after 10 days. Swelling has not gone down very much at all rt knee is 2.750 inchs larger than left knee. I am walking without cane or walker but knee is rally stiff? Will this loosen up and pain decrease? Thanks, jim
