Last year, I began feeling sore in my
right groin area. I suspected a hernia,
but my doctor said it wasn't. He said it
was likely a tender muscle, but that it
could eventually become a hernia. His
recommendation was to do nothing at all,
and take tylenol when it bothered me.
That was then. Now that area hurts a lot
more often, and doesn't subside as easily
as it once did. I'm hesistant to go back
to the doctor, for fear he'll tell me the
same thing as last time.
Has anyone dealt with this before? Is
there anything that helps ease the
discomfort? And if I were to ever need
hernia surgery, how long is the typical
recovery period?
Thanks.

I would tell you to go see a diff doctor
about it if your that concerned. It might
be nothing but it never hurts to get a 2nd
opinion.
