Is it ok to go camping when you are pregnant..I am about 9 weeks pregnant, a little over 2 months and last night I went camping. Me and my boyfriend layed on the ground, with blankets of course and my lower back just kept getting all achy and I cramped a little, but not more than I usually do..My cramps dont hurt or anything, they are just little cramps.

The baby is so tiny in your tummy right now I dont see that by laying on a hard surface it would hurt the baby. If anything its probably just hurting your back, in future id probably keep to soft cushy beds and pillows :)

Thanx for replying..I always get worried im going to do something that will hurt the baby. Last night I woke up and put a pellow under my back and on up. I was more comforatable. I'm supposed to go camping again tonight and I keep telling my boyfriend, hudson, that we need to get an air matress, that would be soooo much more comforatable....Im just a worry freak :s :s :s

Just to let you know, my mom almost delivered me in the woods, she was 9 months pregnant and still camping. I think you will be ok. Just be careful about the water you drink and dont eat any fish that could be raw or not well cooked.
