I Shoulda Listen to My Parents..... Posted: 06-02-05 01:28am
My mother especially ragged on me when I
became a teenager about taking care of
myself and treatingmyself good. But
ofcourse I took everything for granted
like most teens do and thought that
medicaid would last forever...
Now at 20 and 400 lbs im not doing so
well, 7cavitys that I know of from 3 years
ago and since im 6'5" I need a chiroprator
to get to my back that needs a good
poping im in deep crap.
I have no idea about insurance or
deductables or hmo or ppo or anyof that
and it would do my heart good if someone
could point me in the direction of a
health insurance providerer with good or
awesome rates and covers about everything.
I really need to see a dentist and a
dietician. Im getting fatter and worse
by the day. I realized I needed to stop
smoking last year so I did. But im
getting in bad shape and really need a
doctor. I am not by anymeans well off
financly I make like 600 a month and have
other bills to tend to.
Can yall point me in the right direction?
I know the insurance world is full of
shadowy scams and such so im hoping I came
to the right place and thanks in
advance.
Btw im in idaho

At 6' 5" and 400# your best bet will be to
get on an employer plan. I know of no
carrier that will write a major medical
plan on you.
