I've been off the pill for 2 months- I was told before that it would be pretty hard to get pregnant for the first couple months your off the pill, so I havent really been to careful. Well i'm 8 days late, i've taken 3 tests all negative and then a girl at work told me I could still be prego and her doc told her the 3 months after getting off the pill is the most fertile. So if i'm prego great! But I have no idea if I am. I stopped smoking and drinking just in case, but I feel like I am. I've never felt this weirdness in my body, my back hurts my stomach aches kinda but doesnt hurt its just a weird feeling, my boods are sore and I found a lump- they also feel less perky??? I've gotten these weird like sharp pains that lasted about a millisecond inside me, like my cervix or something- are these prego symptoms or am I making myself crazy?? I get really uncomfortable and hot flashes... Please help!!!

Well I would get the lump in your boob checked-that's not a preggy sign, but yes usually right after getting off the pill is very fertile time. My friend on anothe forum was on the pill for 11 years and got pregnant the month after she got off and just delivered a lil boy last month.

See if you miss your period and take a test.

Good luck

Go get a blood test done asap. They are 99.9% accurate, and you could stop wondering after.

Blood tests are different, they can detect the smallest trace, pregnancy tests come out neg all the time.

I talked to my mom about the situation and she doesn't think i'm prego, she said her biggest sign was her boobs hurting and mine don't. They are a little sore, but nothing out of the ordinary. She has endometreosis and I have had a couple ultra sounds to see if I have it but they havent found anything.... Does anyone know if this could be from endo? Or is there any other advice?
Thanks so much

Going to the doctor is going to be your best bet. I mean everyone has different symptoms. I have talked to plenty nurses about the ept tests, and all the others....And they have all told me the same thing......They don
t work. Not like a blood test. When my friend was pregant with my god daughter every home test said negative. She went to the doctors and she was already 5 months!
I would most diffently see your doctor...Better safe than sorry

good luck

After you get off birth control is one of the most fertile times...

A lot of people dont know, but some dr's use the pill in fertility treatments.

They will have the woman take the pill for a certain amount of time, and then go off of it to get her fertile.

It's pretty simple... Birth control fools your body into thinking that it's pregnant. Thats why some women experience pregnancy-like symptoms (swollen feet, nausea, cravings) when they are on birth control. That may be what it is..

The best thing to do is act as if you are pregnant (good idea!), and just wait another week!! ;]

good luck <3
