I've been on the patch for 3 months and I
continued to stay on the patch for a extra
3 week. The Dr. Said it was ok. But now
I have gained 7 lbs. Has this happened
to anyone else. After this week i'm go
to stick with the 3 week with and 1 week
without..

Yeah. I'm currently on the patch. Any
kind of birth control is hormonal. That
means it can affect your appetite and your
metabolism and yes, you will gain weight.
It's the same if you take medications
similar to the patch or such like provera.

Yeah me too, I was on the patch and I
gained some weight too. The effects are
actually the same as the other birth
control pills. It's just a different
method. In addition to my slight weight
gain, I also had a very nice complexion.
It really depends on our body.
