Does any body know if there are any spots
on your body that the birth control patch
won't work on? I know that in the
instructions it says to put it in certin
areas, but what if you put it some where
else? Will it not work?
Thank you in advance to helping me out

I'm on the patch and I can't really say I
know the answer to your question.
However, I don't think it's something you
should try (lest it's used incorrectly and
rendered useless). Consult your doctor
about that or ask one of the 'nurse
professionals" that come with the
"patchedin!" service (the free service
that comes with your patch prescription).
They should know. But as you know, since
you've read the instructions, it can't be
placed on your breasts- if there's a
medical/logical reason for that, then
there should be a reason it shouldn't be
placed on other areas of the body.
-please remember though- birth control is
only effective if used correcty.-

What specific areas do you want to put
your patch? I hear it'll only be
effective if you use it properly and as
directed. From what I hear, if you put it
some weird areas like your breast it'll
give you problems because of the hormones
released by the patch. I was on the patch
before (ortho evra). I wont risk it if
were you.
