No Cervix No Uterus
Posted: 06-03-05 18:55pm

I am a 23 year old female who had her dream shattered when I was 18. I have always wanted children since I was a child. When I turned 16 I realized something was wrong I was not having a period but I had everything else and god was generous in that department. My mother never paid any attention to me , so when I was telling her what was going on she said that it would come. I still did not have it when I was 18 so I decided to go to the doctors myself. I was then diagnosed with not being able to carry a child of my own. The doctor had told me that I did not have a cervix or a uterus. My uterus did not develop at all when I was in the womb. I had discussed about fertilization but that just isnt an option for me I wanna carry the baby myself. With all that the government testing they should make a uterus inplant. Broken dream

Hi cindy! I know exactly how you feel, I have the exact same condition by the sounds of it (and we are rare creatures!). If you still have overies, go and get your eggs tested because it is very possible that you can still have a child of your own with the help of a surrogate mother. I recommend you do this sooner rather than later because our eggs may not be in as healthy for as long as someone who has regular periods. If you want to email me feel free. :d
