If i don't have a regular period at all, will it be very hard for me to get pregnant? I can sometimes go for 4 months or so without one. What can i do to get it regulated if i want to get pregnant?

I two would not have my period for amout 35 to 60 days, my sister can go months. I am married she is not. My husband and I have been trying for over 2 years. We saw a OB/GYN they put me on Clomid but it did not work.. My advice to you is go see a infertility doctor. They know more about this. My reason for not having a regulary period is because I don't ovulate (produce follicles) . With the meds they have given me (clomid and metformin) I have ovulated. They help so much, they check to see if you have follicles and with me they have done the IUI procedures. My sister is not trying to have a baby now, but by me seeing a infertility doc. she has more hope for the future. What we have is PCOS!

I agree about seeing a Dr. Now - before you're ready to conceive.

An infertility specialist will help you learn why you're not menstrating regularly.

They will probably do some bloodwork to check your thyroid hormones - they can effect ovulatory health.

Try checking for a book called "taking charge of your fertility". It is great for those trying to monitor their own cycles.
