Help! How Do I Know If I Am Pregnant Posted: 11-11-03 21:34pm
I have a very consistent cycle and not on
birth control. Recently, I just had a
period as normal (right on time), normal
period. I have also had nausea ever
since I have started. My husband an I
are very careful- we really aren't ready
for a family just yet (we just got
married).
Anyway, I also started taking these new
vitamins (one a day weightsmart for women)
on an empty stomach and that is when the
nausea started so typically I would think
that was the reason for me feeling this
way. Well, yesterday I took them with
lunch, did not feel the nausea but was
extremely bloated last night into today.
I went to buya pregnancy test and the
pharmacist told me that it would come up
negative until I missed my next period.
So now, do I have to wait three more weeks
to get accurate results? Help

Hello
yes you do have to wait for our next
period date to get an accurate result.
Your hormone levels have to high enough
for a good reading.. The weight pills
your on could be the problem why your not
having your period, some of them screw up
your body for the first few months so
don't get to stressed or this because
stress will make you late too so relax and
just try not to get to worried over it..
I know it is easier said then done..
Hope this helps

Well, of course you have to wait until
your next period (three more weeks) if
you're not going to get pregnant for
another week!
I thought you were worried that your
period was not really a period. If you
were already pregnant then, you should
show up positive on a pg test now.
A pg test will not show up positive until
at least 11 or 12 days after the
conception.
