Alright i'm 17 years old and theres no
possible way I could be pregnant my
parents would kill me unless I did it
myself. It all started about 2 days after
I had sex with my boyfriend and I started
getting a pain in my lower left side and
it was unlike menstrual cramps it was pain
soo after a while I started my period or
what I thought was my period but, it was
real light still looked the same but,
light soo I went to the doctor and they
did an examine but, I was soo scared that
I didn't tell them I was sexually active
and she said that I had an ovarian cyst
that ruptured and I started feeling better
about everything but, now its been a month
and now im getting nausea and its not real
bad and I have none of the other symptoms
but, im soo extremely scared soo please
help!!! :?

i did take a pregnancy test and it came up
negative and im suppose to start my next
period here on the 20th but, see I had a
light period or what I thought was a
period 8 days after I had sex..?

If that comes up negative. Then i'd say
no for sure.
But if you dont believe it a blood test.

Ohh I also forgot to add the day I went to
the doctor afterwards I went to go run and
it hurt so bad to run that I stopped
running for about a week and a half, my
left side is what hurt...?

If you go back to the doc's be honest with
them or they will not be able to help you.
Also, if it had been a cyst that
ruptured, you would have had to had some
minor surgery. I had to when my 2 cysts
burst.

do you always have to have surgery when a
cyst bursts or ruptures? All I know is
that she did a pelvic exam and told me
that everything felt fine and im pretty
sure they did a pregnancy test when I have
to give them a urine sample but, could
they be able to tell as soon as a week and
a half? She just told me everything felt
fine and that she thought I was feeling
symtoms of a cyst that had ruptured and I
have to go back on july 25th please

You should make sure you don't have a
tubal pregnancy as those are dangerous.
You need to go to the doctor and tell them
you're sexually active, make sure they
check for a tubal pregnancy.

i had to have surgery when mine burst (but
they were on my kdney) and I know one of
my gf's had to have surgery when hers
burst. I'm not sure if it's always but,
I would go back to a diff doc, and tell
him .E.V.E.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G!!!! Good

I really appreciate it. Well I took
another pregnancy test this morning and it
was negative once again yay!! But, theres
still a chance I could be i'm just hoping
not. My period comes the 19th and if it
doesn't come then i'm going to go get a
blood test. Thanks for everything tell me
what you guys think about this..

If you're period is only due june 19th
then the test would not show up postitive
right now. Depending on the test, you
have to miss your period before taking a
test.

well im confused because they said that
you could have spotting or w/e and thats
what I thought it was when I had my period
but, everything about my period was the
same except very light and I had a cyst
that the doctor said ruptured but, someone
on here told me that if a cyst ruptures
you probably have to have surgery soo if I
was pregnant wouldn't I be able to tell
with a test if im about 5 weeks? Because
if I am pregnant I should be about 5 weeks
actually 5 weeks tomorrow? Please comment

99.9% be showing up positive.
Your light period could be caused by the
ruptured cyst. The nausea could be from
that too. I would go back to a doc's
asap and tell them evrything.

back to the doctor and I have an
appointment on july 25th but, im not sure

Hiya, I know exactly the pain your
feeling!
About 5 months ago I started feeling pain
in my lower left side, and when my period
came it was normal for 1 day, then it
suddenly stopped, I went to the docter who
said that I had to do a preg test to make
sure, whch came out negative, and so she
made me get a kindof sonar screening,
which showed I had 2 cysts, the doctor
explained that its just a folicle type
thing that bursts at the start of our
periods and sometimes it doesnt burst and
becomes a cyst. The doc put me on the
pill for 3 months and everything went back
to normal, the cysts disapeared with my
next period.
If its controlled there shouldn't be a
problem, although I was a little scared,
anything that happens down there is
worrying for us gals, but from what the
docs said, its more common then everyone
thinks and it rare that complications
occur.
Anyway don't worry

alright thanks. Its just really weird

my cysts were on my kidney so maybe they
were more dangerous than the ovary cyst.
And that's why I had to have surgery.
