I am 5 weeks pregnant (confirmed by a Dr.
Visit). Last week I got what seems like a
regular "period". Everything looked
normal on the sonogram for 5 weeks and the
Dr.'s can't tell me why I am bleeding. It
is too early for the Dr. To tell if there
are any problems. My concerns is that my
progesterone level is really low (the Dr.
Has me on progesterone suppositories) and
my hcg level is a little below normal. I
had a miscarriage last year and I am
afraid that this is leading to the same
thing. Please help...Is it normal to get
a "heavy period" while pregnant, if so,
how long should it last?

Wow, its like its happening all over
again. I went through what your going
through the only difference with you they
saw a baby. With me no. But the doctor
thought for me it was too early to see or
hear a heart beat so they put me on
pregesterone suppositories as well.
Unfort. There was no baby. It had
expelled itself.
Listen it they say everthing is okay so
far and some of your levels are low they
are doing everything possible for you to
carry the baby along to full term. Just
take it easy and try not to stress. I
know it's easier said then done but try.
You must be scheduled for another appt
right?
