For the past week, i've been getting this
itching sensation around my anus when im
walking. The longer I walk, the sharper
the pain. And when I went to the toilet,
and use the toilet paper, I looked and
there was reddish (although faint)
color.
My sister (now 13) has had this since
childhood, although she doesnt complain of
it anymore. She said the doctor told her
she had some worms laying eggs around the
skin of her anus. And my uncle recently
complained of it to. So I have a few
questions:
1) can the eggs/worms be carried onto by
clothing, so when all the clothes are
gathered to be washed, they could spread
to other people's clothes? This would
mean they live through the process of the
washing machine!
2) i'm going to bath in salt water so it
can act as a disinfectent, but if this
doesnt work, I will go to my doctor. What
will he do when I tell him, because im not
gonna bend over with my pants down so he
can finger around with those plastic
gloves!
3) other than going to the doctor, is
there a way I can treat this myself? I
think its called piles.
P.S. My diet is ok, I eat alot of veggies
and meat - but enough fruit I suppose.

Hi, I am in the medical profession, it
shoulds like to me that you do have worms,
it's usually the worm called pin worm. It
can be spread by blankets toliets,
counters, and even from animals that have
not been treated for worms, pratice good
hygeine and get the doctor, this can cause
a viscious cycle if not take care of, its
not a good thing to wait to go the doctor,
depending on how long you 've had they can
actually start going up your esophagus,
i've know of people to actually sneeze
them out, it gets pretty gross. The
doctor look at asses every day he's not
goiing to look at your any different.
