Texas Tightens Abortion Laws
Posted: 06-07-05 10:25am

I have read numerous news stories and the point of them is pretty much that the gov signed a bill even further restricting abortion by requiring a handwritten note from a parent and also no abortions past 26 1/2 weeks unles there are mental abnormalities/severe maternal complications.

and like steen stated, I would rather a woman do herbals than let her boyfriend beat the crap out of her with a baseball bat or stick a wire hanger in her uterus to abort. Are you saying you favor the later?

promoting any form of self abortion is irresponsible.

no choice is there. So we will probably be seeing more stories about women getting their boyfriends to beat them up in order to induce miscarriages, thanks to wonderful plers like yourselves that support anti women bills like this.

noone has removed the right to obtain an abortion. Your little anti-comments are so off base....Go ahead keep promoting self induced abortion...Just shows how anti-life/anti-human you really are. Anyone that would condone such behavior can't respect human life very much.

Abortion is not an emergency surgery so what is your point?

Only in extreme life or death medical emergencies...Abortion is not an emergency surgery.

I don't consider the removal of an ectopic pregnancy an abortion considering that the embryo is not viable and has no chance at life. It's like d&c after a missed miscarriage. Therefore abortion is still not an emergency surgery.

if they are cut off from regular access to safe legal abortions, then herbals are a lot safer than other things women could do. Pc is right. If they are restricted, it is much better they know about herbals than see them show up dying in the er from horrible maimings.

you are lying. The tread specifically shows texas restricting access to abortion, making it harder for women to obtain a safe. Legal medical procedure. When they are restricted in their access, they will engage in illegal abortions as history so ambly has shown. The right is being severely restricted and women thus will start self-inducing and be maimed.

Such is the misogyny of the pl.

Or if you are hung up on your sophistry about "removed," then that merely shows the inherent dishonesty in your arguments.

i read that you engage in revisionist linguistics, because you just don't want some abortions to be "abortions" because they are justified. What a dishonest hypocrite.
