I'm posting on account of my dad- he
thinks that he's going deaf... He works
in a mechanic industry and will be 50 in
about 3 weeks... I was wondering if there
is such a thing as his ears being clogged
with wax or some sort and if he goes to an
ent doctor that they will be able to
clense or drain it or something? He just
says everything sounds muffled and not as
loud as usual... Well i'm verryyy worried
about him, i'm his youngest daughter, 15,
and I worry about him more than any of my
sisters... My mom is making him an ent
appt. For friday, but I want answers
sooner!! I'm scared. Also, he said it's
been like this for about 2 months...
Well, let me know what you think asap!
Thanks!!!
-a very worried daughter!!!

Yes they can clear out wax but it hurts.
I have lived with this because I am afraid
of the pain- but my situationn isnt as
bad.
Sometimes there is execssive build up of
wax and to keep it from returning, you can
use certain wax removal kits you can find
at pharmacy stores( but ask the doc for
specific ones and if its right for your
father).
Good luck to him and take care.

I have just had my ears shringed and I can
assure you it dosent hurt at all. If yoiu
soften your wax for 5 days before you go
it is fine. Infact it is a nice
sensation.
So dont put up with it have it done I am a
big softie and cant stand pain so I am
telling you the truth.
Hope this helps.

Hi there
i am a holistic therapist and administer
hopi ear candles. There are a very good
alternative for ear syringing. Very
warm, soothing and comforting.
