Im 20 and my husband and I are talking
about having a baby. I don't think that I
can get pregnant, everyone around me seems
to be having babies though. Even people
who don't want to. I have adnormal
peorids and my doc. Put me on birth
control. My peorids are reg. Now, but I
am scared that if I stop taking them i'll
stop having my peorid. Also, my husband
has one large testical, and one norm.
Could that effect us? I was very sexually
active as a teenager and I had one
mis-carriage @16. My parnets never found
out about it and I was to scared to go to
the doctor. But the doctor tells me now
that everything is fine, that my body
disposed of it, and that I just have a
long vaginal canal. I don't know maybe I
am reading to much into it, or maybe I
want it to badly! Is there any over the
counter drug I can take? Or something we
can do other than spend $1,000@ a doctors
office at this time? Plz help!

why are you assuming that you can't get
pregnant? If you have been pregnant
before, this seems to suggest that it is
possible.
You really need to educate yourself about
how your body works. You are on birth
control pills -- that means you are
actively trying not to get pregnant. If
you are taking birth control pills to
regulate your periods, they still stop you
from ovulating. If you want to get
pregnant, you need to not be taking birth
control pills. Then have a lot of sex.
Why on earth do you think you need to see
a doctor about fertility?

Stop Taking the Pill Posted: 07-13-05 19:37pm
Ok first of all you have to stop taking
birth control because it stops you from
having a baby
and you can buy fertility paels to get
fertile and a fertility test to find out
when you are fertile then have lotz of sex
with your hubbie then go and buy a
prgnancy test
good luck

There are plenty of other factors to think
about as well like smokers may have
trouble conceiving if you look it up on
the net you'll probably come up with
things that will help im no doctor but I
do know that 70% of couple trying to
activly conceive will in the first 12
months. But if you are really worried i'd
speak to your doc. Good luck
