Anyone On Enbrel With These Symptoms??? Posted: 06-11-05 11:06am
Hi, I am a 22 year old female who was
diagnosed with ra about 2 years ago. I
am currently on enbrel and enbrel alone.
I may be allergic to methotrexate so that
is out. I believe the only things left
for me to try are humeria and remicade.
My issues with enbrel are that I was on it
for about 4 months before and had my
period for 4 months straight. I had to
come off on enbrel during a flare up and
my period straightened out. That was for
about 2 months. Now that I have started
back on the enbrel, I have once again had
my period for 3 months now. I saw my
obgyn about this and he said that since he
isn't famillar with the drug he cannot
help me with this. He has tried me on
provera to stop the bleeding, and not even
that has worked. My rheumatologist said
that this isn't due to the enbrel. I
don't know where to go from here. Also
the enbrel makes me itchy all of the time
and I always seem to have a cold. Any
suggestions? Also, anyone know anything
about prosit???
