I Am 9 Weeks Pregnant And I Reallllllllllly Need Advice!!!! Posted: 06-11-05 11:24am
Well, I am a 20 year old female and I am
about 9 weeks pregnant. I have been
pregnant 2 times before. The first
time I got pregnant I had an ectopic
pregnany at about 6 weeks on my left side
which I did have to get surgery for.
The second time I got pregnant I had a
miscarraige at about 6 weeks also.
Okay. So here is my question. I am
now 9 weeks and the doctor has heard and
seen the heart beat 2 times now. The
last time was june 8, 2005. I have
been cramping a lot since then. But,
they are not severe. They are like period
cramps.
Should I be worried about miscarrying
again?
If I do miscarry will I definately
bleed?
What are my chances in being able to carry
this baby to full term?
My doctor assured me that everything is
going to be okay. But, I just want a
second opinion.
The reason I ask this is because when I
had a miscarraige march of 2004 I didn't
bleed at all. And, I had to get a
d&c.
Please respond a.S.A.P

Cramping in pregnancy especially early on
is normal. It is probably your ligaments
stretching basically your insides are
making room to accomodate the baby as it
grows. Once the doctor has heard the
heartbeat chances of miscarriages drops a
lil bit they wont ever be completely gone
but it will drop again dramatically when
you get to your second trimester which you
are almost to. If you have any severe
cramping and it is accompanied by bright
red blood (lots of it) than you should get
to your doctor immediately. But any thing
you may be concerned about I would just go
ahead and call the doc or your l&d to
tell them what your experiencing and if it
is normal. They will be willing to tell
you it is very normal for pregnant women
to get paranoid about everything. Trust
me I do it every week. I go to the doctor
and freak out before its time to go back
again. You should be fine and try not to
worry its not good for the baby.

If the baby has been seen by sonogram and
heard that you are fine. Early on
cramping is fine. Does it feel like you
are getting your period. Alos aree with
the last posting. Relax and you'll be
fine

You really need to schedule a doctors appt
and ask him your chances of miscarrying
due to the pervious ones... Cramping is
part of pregnancy... And you could bleed
for a pregnancy and just be like a regular
period... Which you can have in your
pregnancy
