a Question About 4 Year Old Son : bleeding nose Posted: 06-11-05 15:05pm
My son has been running a high fever and
having frequent nosebleeds. I took him to
the doctor and she could not find anything
wrong with him but told him to take
antibiotic just in case. He has never had
nosebleeds before. They appear to not be
from picking his nose. Does anyone know
what could be wrong with him? He has no
cough, congestion, runny nose, ear ache.
Just not feeling well and occasional fever
and nosebleeds 2 to 3 times a day.

dry nose...argh...my son gets nosebleeds
all the time...vaseline helps and so does
a humidifier. you could ask your ped about
cauterizing the blood vessels in his nose
if his nosebleeds are really bad. as for
the high fever, maybe a cold or the flu?
