This is my first time on this site, so I
hope I am doing this right. My last
period was two days late and I had it last
on oct.9, at that time it was for only two
days. I was on the pill for seven years
until this last june, but even so my
periods have been pretty regular. So,
today is nov. 12, and I was suppose to
have my period last wednesday, so i'm
about eight days late. I took a hpt on
friday of last week and it came uo
negative. I'm confused because i'm not
sure when to take another test. I feel
like i'm having some symptoms but i'm not
sure if I am just having wishful thinking.
I would love some advice!! Thanks for

You definitely could be pregnant. I have
learned from this message board that a lot
of women can be pregnant and it take a
while for a home pregnancy test to show
positive. I guess the pregnancy horomone
shows up later in some people? You
should probably go to the doctor and get a
blood test so you will know for sure!

Well, I took a pregnancy test this morning
and there are two lines showing up, so I
must be pregnant. I'm still nervous that
it is not real because of the first
negative hpt. I'm calling my doctor
today. I just hope everything goes well.
Any advice on how not to stress yourself
out!!!!

Congratulations!!!!!! I am so happy for
you!!!! I have done a lot of research on
home pregnancy tests over the internet and
have found out that if a test is positive
then you are definitely pregnant! It
said that you can have a false negative
but not a false positive. Good luck!
