I Am Worried About My Future!....... Posted: 06-15-05 12:23pm
Is anyone here afraid of their future as
they suffer from anxiety? Anyone have
doubts about their careers or their
studies?
I worry about my career and future. I
dont know if I can tolerate what I am
studying for. I feel sick just thinking
aboout it. Right now I am in my summer
holidays and feel safe. I dont even want
to think about when september comes along.
My anxiety will skyrocket. I dont want
to see the people in my program as well.
Jsut seeing their faces or being in a
classroom with them all, brings me really
bad anxiety.
I just dont know if I am smart enough for
my studies or if I lack confidence or if I
will just not enjoy it as my career or if
it is just too much responsibility for me
to handle.
I dont even want my college years to be
done yet. I am not ready for the adult
world yet. Not yet!! I dont know what to
do. I feel so weak right now.

Does anyone else out there suffer from

their career and whether they will like it

Yeah, I feel like everything I want to do
will never happen because i'm not good
enough,when I go to college it sets it off
aswel, because I don't like some of the
people, similar to your problem, but I
have been told that I am and that I have
to get on with it, I am worried about
diying, every night I wonder if I will get
up, do u suffer with bad throat problems?

Hi down123,
how are you? Yeah I understand, I am in
high school and already overwhelmed about
my future. Sometimes I feel so stupid
when I see and hear about other smart
geniuses...
Yeah summer holidays make me think more
and more about what I want to be and
whether I am good enough for anything!
Sometimes, like you said I get over
anxious and worry whether I will be
successful or not, I think I laack
confidence and self- esteem.
I often daydream a lot about how wonderful
my future will be bu usually I just have
anxiuos thoughts about my future.
I can relate to you, you are not alone.
