Swollen Belly Because of Large Fibroid Posted: 06-16-05 14:48pm
Hello,
i am new here so hello everyone.
I have a fairly large fibroid which my
doctor has been following for over 4
years. Lately it has grown a lot and she
is sending me to a gynocologist. The
waiting period is long and lately my
abdomen is always swollen like it's going
to bust. My husband teases me about being
pregnant. Until I see the specialist, is
there anything I can do to alleviate the
bloating? I look the same as when I was
6 months pregnant.
Thanks

Please don't let them take too long in
taking action on the fibrod. My mother
was told her stomach was big because she
was over weight. One day she went to
emergency room and we almost lost her,due
to low blood count. She had a 22lb tumor
removed the next day they almost had to
give her a hysterectomy it was so large it
moved her intestents over. I wish you
lots of luck

Thank you so much for replying. As for
the diet you're suggesting, I will
certainly try harder, but I already do a
lot of those things (no salt, lots of
water, little meat etc) I certainly have
to increase raw veg. I was wondering
about acupuncture, I have just called to
make an appointment with a naturopath (not
sure what they're called in english), but
they use natural remedies.
Your poor mom, I hope she is ok. I have
done some blood test lately, but results
are not in yet.
