I know this may sound like kind of a wierd
question. But I heard that it's bad to
have sex every day when you are trying to
get pregnant. Something about that the
sperm don't have enough time to form
properly and there's a greater risk of
having birth defects or complications. Is
this true? And how often should you have
sex if you're trying to get pregnant?

My Dr. Told me to have sex everyother day
or ever 2-3 days even....It doesnt cause
birth defects if you have sex every
day....It just reduces the sperm
count...And if youre having sex every day
then when you need the little guys the
most....There may not be as many
there.....Hope this helps.

I dunno if it had anything to do with it
or not or if it was just a coincidence
(which honestly I think it was) but one of
my relatives was ttc and was having sex
everyday and got no where after almost 8
months of trying so the doc told her to
ease up a little and only have sex a few
times a week cause that way it would give
the sperm the time it needed or whatever,
and after I think 3 months of trying she
got pregnant. Not saying it would work
for everyone and maybe it was just her
"time" but who knows, right.
