Why whenever you bend over when you are pregnant it hurts ur lower back? Is it was bad sign when ur lower back hurts from bending over? I just got done handwashing my car and my back is a little achy. My mom told me to just use my legs instead of putting the strain on my back. Even if ive heard the babys heartbeat and im 12 weeks, can just bending over when doing something cause me to misscarry?

Thats crazy....If bending over makes you miss carry, then everyone would.

Ask your doc

Don't bend over. You have to squat. It can cause the cord to get tangled and stuff.

Even at 12 weeks?? Thats crazy because its still so tiny and the cord it kinda big...? Right? Wouldnt it be worse when you are farther along, like 5 months and stuff?

Beats me, my doc told me from the begining not to bend. And the cord can still get twisted at 12 weeks. A friend on another forum just had to have her 15 week baby/fetus removed because the cord twisted around it and it was growing like that and it killed it. Just be carefull, just because you heard the heartbeat doesn't mean complications can't happen.

I found out that its ok to bend over. Bending over isnt going to make the cord kill the baby. Just like sammy001 said, everyone would have a misscarriage if you couldnt bend over. I have a friend whose mom bent over all the time when she was prego and she had her daughter, faith, and she was just fine. But, thanx for the replies.

I remember being like 5 mos preggers and doing gardening...Boy was my back and sciatic nerve killing me after that.
I think its normal b/c you kinda stop using certain muscles when you are pg...Adn when you do...They hurt.
No big deal.
But its prob time to take it easy and rest for a few hours be4 you resume.
