Hi there! Everyone is different. With any surgery or procedure it takes a while to get your body back into shape and there are others that bounce back sooo quickly plus that you had a rip, which might lead to scartissue of course, I am no Dr., just ask your husband or b/f to take it very easy for a while, if he ddoes not take it eaasy with you then it would seem to me that he does not have much respect for you. You might also check with the Dr., and see if you might have an infection.
Please keep us posted on what you find out.
Sincerely,
sandy

Hey there, my wife had to be cut with our first born and of course had to be stiched up. We could not make love for about 4 months afterwards due to it being to painfull for her also. (i had to take matters into my own hands during that time...Lol). Even after 4 months it was uncomfortable and/or painful for her at times. The scar tissue was so sensitive that it would cause her sharp pain if I hit it in any way which limited the positions that we could get into. That continued for 2 years untill my 2nd was born. After 2nd was born, it has stopped causing her pain. Don't know if 2nd one stretched it back out or what. My 2nd is now 2 yrs old and still no further problems. I hope this has somewhat answered your ?.

On another note, your partner has to be carefull and patient with you during this time. If you have sex too early or is too rough, he will break those stiches and off to emergency room you go.

Ok, this is mrs. Banditman, lol. The circumference of our son's head was 18 inches, I had a level 3 episiotomy. Our daughter's head was only 15 inches around, so I didn't have to be cut. After our daughter, things were way different, no pain, no problems. If you had an episiotomy, i'd say have a gync check you out before you start having intercourse again. Also, do a little exploring on your own. If a little pressure on your scar hurts, you're not ready yet.

Now, as for making him "take matters in his own hands," there are alternatives. For us "bigger" girls, use what I call "thunder thighs" ie clench your legs around him. If he gets the angle right, it'll work for you, too. Oh! He's reminding me to remind you to shave first! Rofl!!

Good luck!

Thanks for your reply. I was beginning to think maybe the doctor put an extra stitch or two down there. Hopefully it will start to feel better soon.
