Well first of all your by saying/showing that your willing to find out about his disorder shows that your love him.
By just being there for him is enough, it does take a strong person to be with someone with the disorder and patience is one of the biggest keys as well.
I'm very lucky as I too am in a relationship, sometimes I wonder why he is actually doing still with me (it's been two years!).
There will be some tuff times where he may feel like hes pushing your away, but deep down he's not.
I wish you and him all the best!

Well..You really need to have loads of patience if you wanna spend your life with your boyfriend. Persons with bipolar disorder are likely to experience extreme mood swings. This means he may be very aggresive or rude to you at one time and very nice at other times. So you would need to adjust to his bahavioural changes from time to time.
All the best!

Thank you:)
i notice that sometimes he'll act like he is pushing me away. He doesnt like call me names or nething like that but just with replys and cold shoulders. I know he loves me and I intend to be there for himwhen he needs me. He really is a great person so I just wanted to know if there was anything I shud know to keep this going well. I see what you mean when you say "it takes alot of patients to be with someone with this disorder". I saw changes that I didnt know how to react to sometimes but I try to stay positive when all he can do is put himself down. Thanks for your help guys!!:)
