Leukemia is a form of cancer that affects
the body's blood making system, including
the lymphatic system and bone marrow.
Leukemia is either acute (coming on
suddenly) or chronic (lasting a long
time). Chronic leukemia rarely affects
children, while acute leukemia affects
both adults and children.
Symptoms

symptoms of the flu or other common

aches in bones or joints
headaches
skin rashes
swollen glands (lymph nodes)

unexplained weight loss
