Saturday night I had 4 or 5 seizures in my
sleep, and at least 7 or 8 during the day.
I was hoping that these would at least
be better or not as many, even though i've
only been on meds for 8 or 9 days.
Intensity is the same as before, and they
arrived at the same time frame as they
would have without the meds.
Frustrating, depressing, running out of
positive outlook.

That is a very large number of seizures.
I do not recall what kind you have. Did
you call the neuro? I would......Meds
take time, but when you are having a lot
the neuro might need to add another....

I am taking tripleptal, and I called my
neuro and she bumped me to 600mg in the
morn and night.
Now I am just in a fog all the time.

Sometimes the side effects do ease after a
few weeks. I hope that is the case for
you as well.....
