I seem to twitch a lot. Especially when
i'm thinking about it. A part of my body
will twitch a little every once and
awhile.
Anyone else with an anxiety/nervous
disorder do this?

my eye starts to twitch when a panic
attack starts to happen, you need to
repeat to yourself that everything is
fine, and really convince yourself of this

I find that when I
slow down and take some concentrated
breaths that the twitching eases off. hope
this helps.

Nervous Twitches Posted: 09-06-07 01:07am
Hi,
I have had muscle spasms/twitches from a
very young age and they tend to come and
go I am now 26. They are particularly
persistent when I am stressed or anxious
and can last for weeks. The latest bout
lasted for 3-4 weeks I am awaiting some
blood tests. I generally say to my
partner that I get them wherever there is
a cell or muscle group meaning all over
and am constantly showing him.
There are a number of good websites which
offer help and information but I think
that if it is not genetic or neurological
it is lifestyle related. There is also
something callled myoclonus which is
basically the term for involuntary muscle
spasms - check out the 2nd website for
more info. I really hope it helps and if
you need to talk please feel free to reply
back.
