You can test up to 4 days before your first missed period. But the longer you wait, the more accurate it will be.

I feel really bad for you because if your boyfriend says he dosent know if he came then he must either be lying or he just doesnt weant to speak up. If you were a guy you would know. Trust me I have asked plenty before I wrote this message I am a sister to 5 older brothers. They are all cute so they all have a girlfriend and yes they fool around all the time in my house. My older brother scotty got some girl lisa pregnant and she was only 16. She took a pregnant test 1 week after missing her period and it was possitive. Her and scotty drove down to the doctor clinic and paid 450.00$ for an abortion and its been 6 months and nobody knows about it. The information is very confermetial. Next time you and your boyfriend choose to have sex tell him to use a secure condom and tell him to always be open and honest with you because it puts alot of stress on your shoulders to have to feel for a month or 2. Just try to wait a while before you have sex again. I know guys feel they need to have sex. But if he cant hold off try explaining to him about how having sex puts alot oon your mind. would I be able to get an abortion without my parents knowing? And I know this sounds bad but is there anything I could do to decrease the chances of the baby even coming out.. Like I heard hot baths increase the chance of miscarriages..

You're fertile to concieve between days 10 and 14 counting from the first day of your last period. It's common for men to "pre-ejaculate" the liquid that the sperm swims in, it's only when he orgasms that the sperm will meet up with the liquid and come out. Hey you guys, im having the same problem. My bf and I were fooling around (im only 16) and he put it inside of me for like 2 seconds, but it wasn't even deep at all. He's absolutely positive he did not cum or precum because he wasnt close to it at all. I usually get my period around the end of the month or the beginning of the next month--but its the 3rd and im still not getting it. I'm worried. My boobs have been more sensitive and I get light cramps sometimes but those are signs of my period about to come also. Should I be worried? Or should I wait and see what happens? Thanks all.

I would say it's best to wait at least a week before you start to panic, they do sound like the signs of getting your period and it's also too soon to start feeling the effects of pregnancy. Most of the time, the earliest you start to feel signs of pregnancy is two weeks at the earliest.

Thank you -- but it has been more than 2 weeks I think, so I should be able to feel the effects of pregnancy, right? I know that most women "spot" when they get pregnant, which happens about 1-2 weeks after conception i've read, but that hasnt happened to me yet. Also I havent had morning sickness or anything. M just scared because usually my period is mostly on time, it hasnt been delayed before, but im feeling paranoid... There is a slight possibility that I could be pregnant, but I definitely hope not.
Are there any sure-fire symptoms that i'm pregnant that could be detected this early?
How many days is considered "late" for a period? And
how long should I wait before becoming worried?

Have you tried a pregnancy test yet? They really helped my girlfriend with her paranoia with being pregnant. I think teenage girls can't handle the whole pregnancy issue as well as an adult or more mature woman can. It's natural to panic about this stuff, I think I paniced more than my girlfriend which doesn't help either lol. Try not to panic though, it just makes your periods later I believe from what I have read up about. You sure would have felt some signs of pregnancy if you were, eg. Nausia and sore breasts, feeling sick etc..

Seeing that you are also a teenager, I believe that it could also be your first time to possibly skip your periods. Let's just hope this is the case for the time being, but if you continue to fret throughout the week, purchase a hpt (home pregnancy test) and try it out (buy three for certainty).

If this doesn't comfort you, others will reply also so yeh.. I wish I could be more helpful but this is what I have learnt so far :)

maybe i'm just going through hormonal changes and stuff- I hear its not too rare that teenagers have irregular periods since their bodies have not regulated it yet. Besides, its the 4th, I can wait a week to see if its coming or not. Lol, my boyfriends pretty stressed too, I wish my period would just come so that I don't worry anymore!!!
I would get a pregnancy test, but I dont want anybody finding out (parents especially). Do you have any suggestions? How long does it take usually for a pregnant woman's stomach to become visibly larger? Thanks everyone and maticus :)
