please???
Jessica
 hello everyone my name is jessica
and i'm 17 years old. My whole life I had
uti's and kidney problems. Lately in the
past 2 years I have had new problems
happen that my doctors wont help me solve.
For over 8 months I had an ongoing uti
that the doctors would give me medication
but it would not work...If it did it only
worked for a short time until I got off
the medication and the uti would come
right back. I just now got off a
medication of bactrim (sry if I spelt it
wrong) for over 7 months. I believe my
lovely good old uti is now coming back.
Before I was put on this presicription
when I would take cultures they would come
up pos. For a uti but some days neg.
Even know I had one (we know this because
I went to the doctors some times 3 times a
week) they did some testing and said no
that I did not have the following
things:yeast invection, scaring or
kidneys, enlarged kidneys, aids, or any
sexual transmited diesase. Can someone
help me figure out maybe what is wrong.
We gave up on my doctors because they
would never call us back, wouldnt answer
our questions, wouldnt give me my test
results, made us wait for over 2 hours
when we had an appointment, and would not
give me a doctor but gave us a college
student and which they told me it was in
my head and I was making it up.
and so everyone who reads this know yes
i'm in the process of getting a new
doctor! Maybe someone can help me if they
had a case like mine or is a doctor or has
some knowledge of something. If you would
want to know more about my case i'll be
happy to post more thank you and please
help me.

Hi tina,
i couldn't access that site. I have a
friend with ic & she's nearly suicidal
because she feels so bad. Can you offer
hope? My friend is on many medications
but they seem to make her worse (mood
swings, bloating, weight gain, cravings,
hives). Even her doctors are running out
of ideas. She's gained 50 pounds &
she can't even exercise because of her
bladder spasms. She can only eat a few
(very fattening) foods that don't cause
her to flare up.
I feel helpless. Do you have any ideas?
Thanks.

Elmiron is the only real medicine for ic.
But medications for seizures such as
klonopin, and those for spasms like
ditropan and vesicare help.
She needs to be seeing a good pain
management person and get on some regular
path.
The site was down for a bit, hopefully its
better now. Googling all info about
interstitial cystitis always works.
I will have a book out about ic soon as
well.
Have her contact me at cystitis at
allinfoabout dot com.
