Hi kkaw,
that is a very interesting question. I
have actually heard about this before, and
apparently it doesn't only occur with
pregnancies. If a woman or a man are
having an operation or are very ill, i've
heard it is possible for their partner to
start suffering similar symptoms. I guess
it all depends how in touch which each
other you are. It is a well known fact
that twins have that happen quite a lot.
If one twin is injured or killed, the
other twin can possibly suffer some kind
of similar pain at the same time. My
mother is a twin, and about 7 years ago
she started suffering a severe migraine
headache and she kept saying she had to
get in contact with her twin sister
because something was wrong and yet my
mother was no where near her sister at
that time. We found out later that day
that her twin sister had anaurysm that
burst in her brain and she nearly died.
So maybe that's why I do kind of believe
that this kind of mental connection is
possible with some people.
