If at any time you suspect that you may be pregnant, you need to definitely stop drinking. If you have already drank something and realized later on that you may be pregnant don't drink anymore and as long as it's really early on like you said 5 days, it should not hurt it. However, at 5 days there is really no way to tell if your pregnant or not, baby has to be at least 2 weeks before you even produce enough hcg to register on a hpt. So, if you suspect that you may be pregnant because of timing, feelings, or lack of protection I would definitely not drink until you find out for sure if you are or not. But if you have now and find out later that you are it really shouldn't hurt the baby because its still reallll tiny. But don't do it anymore.

Yeah I think in the first trimester your baby is really vulnerable so you should try and limit drinking as much as you can.

I've cut back on both alcohol and smoking so far.

I only allow myself to drink 2 lolly water vodka's a fortnight and I have 2 cigarettes at most a day which I used to smoke 20 a day.

Its not that hard trust me!!!!!!

Shouldn't smoke or drink alcohol at all while being pregnant; that's just commonsense!
