I am struggling with alopecia areata for 2 years now. I had cortisone injections 2 years ago but they did not help until I had a hysterectomy. I was severly anemic. My hair grew back but once again I have 2 large bald spots. I can't find any medical reason. I read that sometimes it grows back without cortisone, anyone have any luck? I hate the injections. I also had this in my early 20's but no problems until 2 years ago, I am now 40. Any suggestions appreciated! Lisalaz
