I still haven't recieved my period, but
then again i'm not sure if that's becaused
i've missed a month 1/2 of pills or if i'm
preg. The last period I had was oct.2.
The oct. 31 didn't come, but had that
light/spotting thing a week after losing
pills. I took a hpt a week after my
missed period and it was neg. But i've
had people tell me that that's too early
to detect hcg. My nipples are tender and
have been for about 3 wks. I don't think
my stomach is hard but then again I don't
know what i'm looking for. I've had some
nausea but it's not a lot just every blue
moon. However, my period was suppose to
have came on halloween but it has yet to
come or try to come. The last I saw of
anything remotely like it was a week after
I stopped taking the pills because I lost
them...And that was not a normal period
anyway.
I have an appt. To find out the 25th.
But i'm wondering if i'm worrying for
nothing and the neg was right? What signs
should I look for? Are my pills still in
my system since i've been taking them for
several years? Please help because i'm
confused and very scared.

It's Ok!! Posted: 11-17-03 00:05am
What you are feeling is normal, and anyone
in that situation would always assume the
worst. The same thing happened to me last
month. Well not the exact same thing, but
ya know. If you took only half of your
whole months worth of pills, and a few
days to a week after you had some sort of
bleeding going on down there, then I would
say that you are fine. It was too close
in time for you to have a full period
again, and your cycle is probably really
screwed up now. If you have been on the
pills for a few years without ever
stopping then I think you are fine. Your
cycle doesnt really know what to do
because you took some pills but didnt take
28 days worth, and the fact that you are
stressed could be holding it off. If you
were pregnant I think it would definately
show up in a test now. I'm glad that you
made an appoitment just to be on the safe
side. If it happens again call your
doctor and ask them to write you a
prescription, then just start where you
left off. I hope that everything works
out and you are ok.
P.S-- you should think about switching to
the patch, its the best thing since sliced
bread, I love it!!! Its so easy you dont
have to worry about taking a pill everyday
or losing your pills!!!

You're probably right about the patch.
Your words are very comforting and
reassuring. I'll let you know what
happens with the appt.
Lots of love, hugs, and sunshine, babygirl

I'm glad to hear that, thats what I was
aiming for. I went through it last month,
and I was really freaked out, and I wish I
was part of this so I could have talked
about it. But I hope that everything
turns out ok :d
