I am 13weeks preg and bleeding already went to the hospital baby is fine was on this metro gel medication for a few days before I started to bleed. I\being treated for some type of infection due to having intercourse or something. Found out later that the metrogel is a anticoagulent or blood thinner thus possibly explaining the watery blood that I was loosing in the er. Doc said that it was very unlikely that the gel had any affect at all on the current situation. But instructed me to not use it any more, then he put me on an antibiotic augmentin to fight any infection taht he felt may be in the vaginal area. Like I said baby is fine had ultrasound baby was fine normal heartbeat and everything. Nothing leaking around the baby. Was told to go home and rest and if I started to bleed more heavily or start to cramp to return to the er. I have an appointment with ob on monday. Anyone have atheory of what is going on? I am 19yrs and have had one misscarriage before . Last year in feb. Please help mrs. Martell
