Hi sunny,
i've tried the colonix (www.Drnatura.Com)
as has my whole family and circle of
friends. You would not believe the amount
of stuff we all ended up passing. Yuck!!!
But I have to say how absolutely
incredible we all feel. So much more
energy and the weight loss was a nice
bonus that I wasn't expecting at all.
It's definitely the best investment i've
made in a long time.

Talking to People Who Have Used Colonix Posted: 07-28-05 10:00am
Everyone can find out much information
about the "colonix" cleansing process at
www.Drnatura.Com and
there are so many testimonials there, but
since they are obviously only going to
post the most positive testimonials
(assuming they are even all true) I was
hoping to talk to people who have used it
before and see what they thought. I'm
26yrs old and have been struggling with
ibs symptoms since I was in late
elementary school. I tried all types of
diets and had tests done when I was
younger and no one could help me (this was
before so much was known about ibs).
I've had low energy for as long as I can
remember and would be thrilled to see even
a slight improvement on bloating, pain,
and chronic fatigue. I'm not worried
about the cost of the product, I guess im
just worried about taking something when I
don't know anyone else who has taken it
and I don't know what it will do to me.
Anyone can put any testimonials on a
website, but if I could just talk to some
real people I think I would be convinced!
Thanks to anyone who can help me!

Yes, I know what you mean I have same
symptoms since child birth, last one 19
years ago. I feel like I am going to
pass out from intestional pains, after
bowel movement im fine. Finally in 2003
stomache really swollen, and went to drs
several times all tests fine except they
say I had an inflamation in my body
(prolly in my intestines) very dangerous
and they never treated it, for they didnt
find out what it was. Finally symptoms
went away-- but they come and go. I
never feel finished when I go to the
bathroom anymore, even if I go every day.
I do also have hiatial hernia causes
problems too. Love to finally feel
finished if you know what I mean. I
would love to find something that would
help detox my intestines or a good
antioxident that would clean me out.
Can you do this while pregnant?? Do you
know

Not While Pregnant Posted: 07-28-05 10:37am
I've noticed on the website that it does
say that you are not supposed to do this
while you are pregnant.
Sorry to hear about your pain. If you
are pregnant, at least you know that there
may be something out there that can help
you once you've had your baby!
(assuming it really is as good as it
sounds from all those testimonials on the
website)

I ended up here doing a search for any
info, real experiences, articles, whatever
for this product, I too find it a little
frustrating when 90% of information on the
site is testimonial by supposed customers,
particularly the biochemist who took
samples to his lab to view under a
microscope and saw mysterious worm looking
things with different shapes and "things
that looked like eggs." didn't really
write like you would expect someone with a
phd in biochemistry to write, and for
somone who spent years of school looking
under a microscope not to even attempt to
classify or guess at what he was seeing
kinda really drove the nail in the coffin
of skeptism for me.
However, colon cleansing is not really
accepted as a viable or valuable part of
personal health in our mainstram western
medicine, so clinical tests, scientific
research and otherwise tools we usually
use for validating treatments and
therapies are not readily available and
very few to begin with, so if you want to
try a different approach maybe in this
area of healing at this time other
people's experiences are the best souce of
information next to our own personal
experience.
Anyway i'm convinced the testimonials are
contrived, but i'm not sure that means the
product doesn't work or at least may be
beneficial for a cleansing program,
psyllium at least I know is a commonly
used herb for digestive cleansing which is
one thing that's in the cleanser, so
anyway i'm going to try one kit and i'll
post how it does for me here, hope that it
proves helpful and that everyone
eventually finds something good for them.

Thank you! That is truly exactly how I
feel! I wish you lots of luck and am
excited to hear about your results! One
of my best friends is thinking of trying
it, if she does, i'll let everyone know
how it goes. If it goes well, i'm sure I
will also end up trying it and will be
happy to let everyone know how it goes!

Well I read on in my quest to find a good
detox program and setled on ultimate
cleanse by nature's secret, 30 bucks at
gnc. It's similar to colonix only it has
less psyllium husk and an extra
peristalsis stimulant cascara sagrada,
it's a little more well rounded in terms
of an internal cleanse, and i'm pairing it
with a slightly stricter diet than I
normally adhere to and less food intake
overall plus lots of water and herbal tea.
So far, day 4 and no cool things
floating around in the bowl, but i'm
beginning to regain a little energy and
retain it throughout the day and i'm
sleeping a little better as well.
Whether this can be attributed to the
herbal cocktail, the change in diet, my
imagination or some combination of the
three I can't say, but I definitely feel a
little better.
So, part of the reason I opted for
something other than colonix is I really
felt in reading about several different
products that this should ultimately have
the same benefits as well as a few others,
which is why I hope my experience can
prove useful to someone, and as I looked
into it I really feel that the main effect
of colonix is produced by a massive amount
of psyllium husk which is a soluble fiber,
and when mixed with water soluble fibers
become sticky and gelatinous which is
exactly what those pictures looked like
on the website, intending for us to think
it's some layer of gunk being removed from
the intestinal wall. I could be wrong,
that's just the feeling I got, and if you
want to try, any health food store or gnc
will sell you a giant container of
psyllium husk in powder form that should
do the same thing, whether it is a wall of
gunk or just the soluble fiber and water,
and for less money. I'm certainly not
trying to disredit a product i've never
tried, or disuade anyone else from trying,
I just wanted to share my thoughts about
it and explain my choice for another. So
i'll let everyone know how things go with
this one and if it's great then hopefully
it can benefit somone else or maybe it'll
mean colonix is worth a try since they are
somewhat similar, but either way we all
have to find what works best for our own
unique body and i'm stoked to find places
like this where we can help one another
find out what does work.

Colonix Posted: 08-11-05 21:05pm
The colonix from dr natura with fiber mix,
paranil, and kleri tea is working fine for
me so far. I've been on for 10 days. The
first few days I felt a little weak, but
that has passed. Never had problem with
regularity, just wanted to try a cleansing
program. Certainly recommend drinking
lots of water. It seems to make things
work well. Have not passed anything
unusual yet, but it's only been 10 days.
Starting to feel a little better with more
energy, and my stomach feels emptier than
usual, but I notice that I don't get
hunger pangs, and it takes less food to
cap my appetite. I'll keep progress
posted.

It is a good stuff and its work just fine.
I have seen a lot of good inputs on this.
Also I have stumbled across on one great
site www.Askshelley.Com
, she is a professional educator, and the
site is dealing with bowel management,
apart form other things. Worth’s of
checking out.

Colonix Update Posted: 09-18-05 09:08am
2 months on now. Have expelled mucoid
plaque in the last week. Have lost 19
lbs. Losing weight was not my intent.
Nice benefit though. Does not cause me
more frequent bowel movements, just more
complete. Feeling much, much better.
Will stay on 1 more month for the
recommended 3 months. So far, so good.
Will keep posted.

Colonix Posted: 10-06-05 14:37pm
Hi everyone
i started using colonix today and i'm
excited about cleaning out my system. I
am 28 and I have trouble going to the
bathroom like I should so I know that this
would be perfect for me. My mother works
for a doctor and he encouraged us (my mom
and i) to try this. I will let you all
know my results.
Day 1
i have somewhat of a headache but I feel
fine. I haven't gone to the restroom yet
but I know that I will soon.

Day 9 Posted: 10-15-05 14:34pm
So far I haven't had any significant waste
expelled but on yesterday more came out
than usual. I only go to the restroom
once a day; I was hoping that it would be
more. I'll keep you'll updated.

New Colonix User Posted: 10-17-05 22:59pm
I've been on colonix for a week now. I
didn't know anyone who had ever used it.
I have had trouble with constipation for
many years, but had not yet resorted to
taking laxatives. I knew that since I
only had bm's 2 or 3 times week, I had to
have buildup inside of me. I'm 36 years
old and have an average weight, but I
don't have much fiber in my diet.
I saw results the very next day. I had
the largest bm i'd ever had. I could
tell by the different colors and textures
that some of it had probably been in me
for a while. I continue to have a good
bm each morning like clockwork. I would
recommend being sure you have easy access
to a bathroom when you're on this because
when the urge hits you, i'm not sure how
long you could hold out. On the third
day, I had some intestinal looking stool
which freaked me out a little. I believe
that maybe it's feces that was in the
creases of my colon. That's only a
theory though. I haven't seen anything
alive though.
Now that i've started phase two of the
process (which begins after 5 days), i've
noticed the feeling of thinking I need to
go during the day, but i'm unable to. I
don't know whether it's because all the
stuff is building up inside of me and just
isn't ready or what. I do continue to go
in the morning though.
I'll try to keep you up-to-date on my
progress. I can't really say that i'm
feeling a lot better yet. Even though
i'm going everyday, the fact that I feel
like I need to go during the day and can't
is a little frustrating. I've only been
on it a week though, so i'm far from being
finished. I have high expectations on
the end result. :)

It sounds like you're getting pretty good
results. Make sure you're drinking enough
water throughout the day. That should
help move things along. Also, when you
feel the urge, go! Don't wait too long as
the urge could pass.
You will probably not start feeling a big
difference for another week or two.
You're at the stage where your body is
trying to cope with the toxins it's
releasing. Once you overcome the hump,
you should start feeling better.
Keep us posted!!!

Update-12 Days In Now.... Posted: 10-23-05 19:19pm
I must admit that I was beginning to get
frustrated, but after 3 or 4 days it seems
to have straightened itself out. I'm
starting to feel better now too. I've
carried this feeling of being weightened
down for a long time. It's hard to
explain. I haven't lost any weight yet,
but still feel lighter. It amazes me
that so much is coming out of me. It
also relieves me that i'm able to get all
of that old stuff out.
I sent an email to the customer service
department about the problems I was having
and received a reply within 3 days. I'm
going to begin taking probiotics to
increase my good bacteria. It sounds
like some people don't need this, but I
probably do. They emphasized being sure
to follow the fiber drink with 8 ounces of
water. More or less than 8 ounces at
that point can prevent the fiber drink
from working like it's supposed to.
My only problem at this point is that some
mornings it's hard to get those 4 capsules
to go down easily. I've never been a big
water drinker. Especially in the
mornings. Then to have to wash down 4
capsules along with it is making me look
forward to the day when i've completed my
cleansing.
I'll be back in touch...

Day 21: Colonix Posted: 10-31-05 14:48pm
Hi,
i have been on the colonix cleanse for 21
days now. For the first week or so I was
very fatigued and had mild headaches which
dissapated after about 2 weeks in. I
passed my share of odd looking stools but
at this point they have been fairly normal
looking although tend to be quite large.
Since starting the program I still feel
fatigue but not sure if it is more or less
then I felt before I began the program.
I do notice I am less gassy then before
and I am hoping that I will see more
results.
I still have another month to do after
this one so plenty of time to go before I
have completed a 2 month cleanse.
Some people say they feel way more energy
etc.. I definitely haven't had any major
postive reaction that would be worthwhile
mentioning.
One thing worth noting is that I am alot
more regular and the ease to which stools
pass has become much more comfortable
(hence the added fibre from the colonix
powder).
All in all it has been an easy program to
do and I will post if any positive changes
occur.
Good luck..

Eh, i'm still pretty skeptical of the
program. On the one hand, you need
bacteria in your intestines to help you
digest. About 10 pounds of your
intestines is bacteria. If you remove
them all that can't be good...
On the other hand, it seems to me like
people with my problem (too much
flatulence) would need to do something to
this effect in order to solve the problem.
*sigh* you just never know with drug
companies. :?
