Ok, this is really embarrissing but since we're all on the same subject :) I can go a week and a half without going to the bathroom. I then have to drink fleet -- (nasty), this is the only laxitave that will work on me. I have had this problem for years. For the past 2 years I have this awful yellow mucas that comes out everey time I wipe, and it smells bad!! What are your coments? What could this be?

I go quite a while without going as well. When I was in situations of severe stress I would go as long as 3 weeks without going. Dunno bout the smelly mucas thing though, hopefully someone has a good answer for ya.

You do not have ten pounds of bacteria in your intestines. You have ten pounds of build-up. They are not the same. Yes, you do need good bacteria to balance out the bad. Not only does the colonix not remove good bacteria, it actually helps replenish it. The fiber contains acidophilus for that reason.

The colonix is great for getting rid of chronic gas. I used to have really bad gas pains and I feel 1000% better now. My digestion has improved so much.

Guys, going once week or once every three weeks is insane. You need to do something now!!! Your body will not function much longer like this.

I agree with the above poster. Try colonix, I guarantee you will be pooping at least once a day in under a week on this program and at the same time ridding your body of those nasties you are speaking of. I have been on it now for 25 days or so and although I have not had the problems as extrmeme as some of you, I was going 3 days without going to the bathroom and now every day at least once.

It is worth the investment, especially for you guys!

Btw, they (colonix) have a money back guarantee so you can't go wrong imo..

Trying New Product

I have decided to take the colonix plunge...After doing a lot of research I thought this product seemed more in line with what I wanted to accomplish. As a first timer I was skeptical of the products offered in health stores that promised regularity after 1 week. I am 26 years old and thought that it would take more than 1 week to undo the years of bad eating habits I have subjected my body to. So I will defintely post my results...Good or bad.

I am on day 3. Nothing yet. I have suffered from ibs for 2 years, I am praying that this is going to work. Question to some of you who have had some good results, did you continue to drink alcohol? I am not a heavy drinker, but don't want to give it up on the weekends. Drnatura discourages it - but I am curious if a couple of drinks would harm the program seriously?

I personally think a glass of red wine now and then is fine during the program. After all, it is very high in antioxidants. just stay away from the hard stuff.

My Experience With Colonix
Posted: 11-29-05 12:48pm

I am glad I found this forum. I first started out taking this cleanse called smart cleanse / cleanse smart. I liked it alright, and it worked okay. But my husband did not seem to respond as well. He has always been pretty regular, going atleast 1-2 times a day. But me, not! I usually go 1-2 times a week. 2 is pushing it! I usually take a laxative to make myself go. So after viewing Dr. Natura's colonix, we decided to give it a try. My husband responded well, and was very happy! On the other hand, I didn't respond as well. After 2 days, I did have a nice size bm, and after another 2 days, I got completely stopped up! I was miserable. I looked about 3 months pregnant, and I had gas and I could not eliminate. I called customer service to tell what was happening, and they suggested I drank more water, even though I was already doing 70 oz. (i always drink lots of water). Did not help. I followed their instructions and the plan down to a science, and still no results. Finnally they said "you may need to take a laxative", now why would I want to take a laxative if i'm doing a cleanse? So seeing no other way, I took a harsh laxative to get all this stuff out!!! Then they suggested I give it a few days, and not take the fiber. So I discontinued the fiber. Taking the paranil, probiotics, and tea. Finally, sweet relief!!! I have not seem any thing strange, no parasites or funny looking stools, but I did see a lot of mucus, so i'm glad to get rid out that. However, I started taking the fiber again, (with fingers crossed that everything would go well) and once again, I got extremely backed up and this time I looked 6 months pregnant!!! I called customer service, now mind you I started taking the fiber on 11/20/05, and like the c.S.R. Suggested, I started with 2 doses instead of one, followed by 8 oz of water with each. Okay monday a.M., I went, although it wasn't big - I did go. So I continued with the fiber, the paranil, the probiotics and I even steeped the tea for 20 minutes as suggested. The next day, lots of gas, but no bm.
I did not have a bowel movement again until, saturday night 11/26/05. I took a fleet enema to get immediate relief. When I did the enema, my bowels "broke loose" and it was like I exploded inside! I had to flush 3 times before I was finished!!! I again contacted c.S.R., and told them what happened and they finnally said maybe I should discontinue the fiber. I have not touched it again. The fiber just doesn't agree with me. The tea, is great and I take the paranil and probiotics. But I have never been so constipated in my life like I was when I used the fiber. Now, I go nicely and the tea is good, I do steep it for 15 -20 minutes cause it works better for me, but I also don't look pregnant anymore!!! Overall, I do like my results with the cleanse smart better, but my husband really likes his results with the Dr. Natura. We started this cleanse around 11/11/05. Oh, also for female readers: I have notice an increase amount of vaginal fluids... Its almost like an internal cleanse or something going on. And for male readers: my husband (me too!) has noticed a thinner texture of sperm, and also at times, shorter erection time. But if this is really cleaning us out, it should be worth it. (just as long as everything returns to normal... Erection wise!)

I am on day 14 of the colonix. I am seeing results. I was usually going to the bathroom once a week and sometimes during high stress situations, I wouldn't have a movement for over 10 to 12 days. I have had a movement every day on the colonix. I am not seeing extreme results, as I still feel somewhat full and not completely emptied. But this is better results than I have experienced with anything else. My doctor put me on two different prescription meds and I would have instant results - which was just diarrhea - and then I would be completely constipated within two days.

What I like about this program is that it is not a forced movement like you get with laxatives and prescriptions, it is natural and consistent results. I am hanging it out for the long haul and I am going to do two months of the cleanse. And, since I am seeing results, I have started eating better and following the do's and don'ts of eating the program suggests. I am only half way through my first 30 days, so I am hoping for even better results as time goes by.

So good to find this group. I've been looking for people to discuss the colonix products with objectively. I've been trying to do a little investigative research on them, since they don't advertise who started drnatura or anything much about the company. It's all just testimonials, as you all probably know.

I wrote to customer service, and was told that a lynn hardy, nd started the company. This was followed, strangely enough, only by her endorsement of the product. It did not say anything of how colonix or her company (if it is hers) came to be.

I wrote back to the rep, citing this, and also asking what have been some of the problems customers have encountered with the products, what reasons they have had for returns. The only thing the rep said was that they never got any 'bad returns.' that if people returned the products, they did so but were still happy with the product.

None of this makes sense. I asked to speak to a manager or ceo. I have not received a response.

Other research i've done indicates that senna, one of the ingredients in the kleri-tea, can be addictive. It can damage nerves in the colon wall, and over time, weaken the musculature so that people become dependent on it. Yikes.

I was really disappointed to find this out. I was thinking of buying the cleanser. Guess it's back to d & e (diet & exercise) as usual.

Steep the Tea Longer!
Posted: 12-05-05 13:25pm

Hi. Steep the tea a little longer. You will get the results you need. I steep it 15 -20 minutes every night. I always feel empty after I go in the morning. Usually 2 - 3 times in the morning!!!

Addictive

Hi. I also did a little research and found out that senna can be addictive when used for prolonged periods and also when used without proper instructions. The colonix plainly state to discontinue the use of the tea, once the initial cleanse is over. You may stay on the cleanse up to 3 months, but you have to stop the tea. So if you follow the instructions, you won't have any problems. If you do, simply stop the product and contact customer service. This product is safe when taken properly. But it an individual decision. I really like the smart cleanse 30 day program. For me it really works.

Colorius - not everyone is having amazing results with colonix. I read on another cleansing forum that many people suffer from constipation when they use colonix.

I contacted one person who was selling her colonix herbs on ebay, to ask why she was selling them. She said that drnatura didn't state that if you have gall bladder problems you shouldn't take these products. She did, and 5 days into cleansing, wound up in the hospital with a non-functioning gall bladder.

They may provide a product that works for some people, but they are not at all forthcoming about side effects and contraindications.

Troll? You must be kidding, or looking in the mirror. I came here to find out information on this product. In a short time i've heard some horror stories about drnatura. I even contacted them myself, to no avail. What i've heard just doesn't match up with their overly glowing website.

If you want to worship drnatura blindly, go ahead. I wanted to believe in them, wanted to feel safe in trying this product, and being able to recommend it to friends, family, and clients, but they give me absolutely no reason to. Is this group only about unquestioned adherence to the colonix product?

Considering that you've never tried the product, it makes me question if you are working for one of drnatura's competitors? Why else would you spend so much time and effort to ruin the credibility of an incredible product? It makes no sense at all.

If I don’t like the sound of a product, I simply will not try it and move on to something else. I would never join forums to badmouth a product that I know nothing about. How stupid would it be to spend my time on such mindless activities.

Most of us are all happy and delighted with the results of the colonix program in this forum. If we have a concern, we can share it in a civilized manner. You are the only bad seed. Why are you trying to burst our bubble? Don't you have something better to do? Why don’t you become a spokesperson for a drug company? You are using the very same tactics.

Everything you write about is completely unfounded. I personally don’t believe a word you say. I have dealt with drnatura’s customer service many times and they were extremely responsive every time. If the gallbladder story was true, don’t you think the person would have returned the product for a refund instead of trying to sell it on e-bay?

You also mention that you’ve heard all kinds of horror stories about colonix and then tried to contact the company to no avail. What does that mean? They wouldn’t confirm your horror stories? If, in fact, you did hear bad things about the colonix, why not just move on to a different product? Why spend the time and energy to discredit a product that you know nothing about? Why not just take the product of the company that is paying you for these posts? I’m sure they have a pretty good colon cleanser.

In the meantime, why don’t you go to a different forum to harass people there. I think that everyone has had enough of you here.

I hope you’re getting good money for these pathetic derogatory posts.
