Does Anyone Know About Post Operative Rhinoplasty? Posted: 06-26-05 16:01pm
I have some questions to ask and I can't
ask my doctor because it's sunday and he's
not in.

It's not really a problem it's a question
about the way my nose looks. It's been 2
days and the nose appears turned up to
where the tip is not proportional to the
sides of the nostrils. The doctor said
that it naturally sbusides to look more
proportional over time. Does anyone know
how long it takes for the nose to look
presentablt. I've heard that the actual
healing process takes a bout a year to
actually happen. Does this mean that I
will have to wait a year before my nose
looks presentable or that it takes a year
for it to look flawless?

I have had a rhinoplasty and your doctor
is right. My nose did not look normal
for at least 5 months, but the whole
healing process took about a year. The
pain and discoloration I had was well
worth it.

My nose looked normal about 2 weeks after
I got it done. Maybe 3... But it wasn't
too long really.
