Auditory Hallucinations? Posted: 06-26-05 21:53pm
This has happened a few times- while
falling asleep, I begin to hear a man
screaming at me....I am drowsy, but still
fully conscious. I also hear bits of
conversation sometimes. I often wake up
in sleep paralysis, have extremely vivid
nightmares, and wake up for no reason with
a sense of impending doom (best way I can
describe it). The screaming and voices
freaks me out a lot, because it never
happens during the day. If it helps any,
I have a central nervous system pain
disorder and my new md. Thinks that I may
be epileptic (petit mal seizures). I
often feel more rested after staying up
all night than after sleeping- she thinks
that I never reach deep sleep. I don't
know if that has anything to do with the
voices or not...

Thef irst few lines, i've heard before.
It's something to do with voices echoing
in your head and refracting before
dispersing into nothingness. I get it
from time to time when i'm half asleep, I
hear my name been screamed or soothingly
called out to me and I bolt up and wake
up.
