Pathological substrate in MS is not
infarct but inflammatory demyelinizating
plaque. Inarct and MS-plaque may look
similar on MRI and both pathological
conditions can cause seizures. You may
need to do some additional investigations
for MS like: serological examination of
the cerebrospinal liquor and evocated
sensory potentials test.
